Patient rights mainly refer to the application of basic human rights and values to health services.It is based on basic documents related to human rights.It is possible to define patients and health care providers as rights that should be taken together for a better health environment. 

1- THE RIGHT TO USE IN SERVICE

*Our patient without any discrimination of religion, language, sex, race, faith or form of payment,the right to use existing facilities, the right to choose a doctor and health care provider, and to change at any stage of treatment.

2- THE RIGHT TO USE IN GET RESPECT AND REPUTATION

Our patients are always entitled to service in a respectful, courteous, affectionate and friendly environment in all circumstances.

3- PRIVACY RIGHT

*The right to request records and information about the disease, its security and privacy (even after it has been killed).

*Talking with people who are not related to patient treatment or has the right to refuse to see these people

*During the interview and inspection phases,the right to be in an environment that provides adequate visual and auditory confidentiality,

*It has the right to protect the property of the patient and to request additional security.

4- THE RIGHT TO KNOW IDENTITY

*The patient has the right to know the identity and duties of the relevant personnel throughout the services he receives.

5-RIGHT TO KNOW INFORMATION

*The patient has the right to access his / her medical records at any time.If necessary, he may request that the person appointed by him be informed.

*The physician concerned has the right to receive information regarding the diagnosis of the disease, its treatment and its known prognosis.

*When the patient is not medically appropriate,legal guardian may request information.

6- RIGHT TO COMMUNICATION

*The patient has the right to accept visitors on the basis of the rules of the health institution and to communicate verbally with the outside persons.

*Foreign nationals have the right to request an interpreter on condition that they pay the fee themselves.

7- PATIENT APPROVAL

*The patient has the right to participate in decisions regarding treatment,

*The patient can not be included in research studies without approval,

*Can not be taken organ or tissue for money or benefit from the patient.

*If the consent of the legal representative of the hospital is necessary and the consent is urgent and the consent of the representative can not be obtained on time, the medical intervention may be done by two physician decisions and written approval.

8- RIGHT TO CONSULTANCY 

*If our patient accepts his / her request and additional payment, he or she may request a consultation from another expert.

*The recommended treatment after consultation is applied by hospital personnel.

9- DO NOT ACCEPT PLANNED TREATMENT

*The patient or legal representative has the right to refuse the proposed treatment.

*When the patient refuses treatment,is given information about the risks that may arise from the physician and the signing of information.

*If a patient refuses treatment before, the patient has the right to receive necessary medical care and treatment again.

10- EXAMINATION AND TREATMENT CHARGE

*The patient has the right to receive a clear and detailed bill of the fees to be paid for the service provided.

11- RIGHT TO TAKE SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT

*Our patients have the right to wear their own clothes and use their duties and symbols related to their beliefs, to receive social and psychological support, to accept visitors and companions as long as they are not impeded by their treatment.

12- PATIENT COMPLAINTS

*Our patients have the right to be evaluated, finalized and informed about their complaints.

*The patient also,has the right to apply for jurisdiction.

13- HEALTH ORGANIZATION RULES AND APPLICATIONS

* The patient has the right to be informed about the health institution's rules and practices.

14- THE RIGHT TO BENEFIT FROM RELIGIOUS SERVICES

*Our patients can perform their religious worship without affecting other patients and without risking their own health within the framework of hospital rules.

*With the condition of paying the fee, the clergy may ask.

PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provision of Information

Our patients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information about their health condition to the physicians and nurses responsible for providing medical services.

2. Compliance with Recommendations

Our patients are obligated to adhere to the treatment plan recommended by the responsible physicians and to accept the implementation of the care plan by the relevant healthcare personnel in accordance with the instructions of the physicians.

3. Rejecting Planned Treatment

If the patient wishes to reject the treatment, they must provide the reasons in writing to the physician. The patient's next of kin cannot use this right as long as the patient is conscious. 

4. Compliance with Healthcare Facility Rules

Our patients are responsible for complying with the rules and practices of our healthcare facility.

5. Responsibility of Respect

Our patients are responsible for adhering to the measures and rules implemented by the hospital in situations that may endanger other patients and their relatives, such as noise, visitors, and smoking, within the healthcare facility. 

6. Infection Control

Our patients and their relatives are responsible for being sensitive to all recommended measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

7. Payment Responsibility

Our patients are responsible for paying for the examinations and treatments they receive. Patients and their relatives who intentionally damage fixed assets and consumables are responsible for covering the costs.

8. Patient Visitors

Our patients are responsible for limiting the number of visitors as much as possible, ensuring that visitors do not bring food or drinks, refraining from using items belonging to other patients, and adhering to the visiting hours set by the hospital.

Visitor Policy

Children under the age of 12 are more susceptible to infections in hospital environments compared to adults, and therefore, it is not recommended for them to visit patients.
Please ensure that visits do not exceed 15 minutes.
No more than two visitors are allowed per patient at a time.
During your visit, for the health and safety of both the patient and yourself, please refrain from touching the furniture, equipment connected to the patient, or sitting on the patient’s bed.
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the hospital building to protect the health of our patients.
If there is a warning sign on the patient’s room door during your visit, please consult with the nurse before entering the room.
In cases where contact with a patient under isolation is required, please follow the instructions provided by healthcare personnel regarding the necessary precautions based on the category of isolation.

Visiting Hours

  • Clinics: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
  • General Intensive Care: 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care: 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Coronary Intensive Care: 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Neonatal Intensive Care: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Visits can also be arranged with physician approval.)

Companion Policy

  • The number of companions is limited to one person. If more than one companion wishes to stay, approval must be obtained from the patient’s physician or nurse.
  • Companions must adhere to hospital rules. In cases of violation, the companion's status may be revoked.
  • Companions should not perform any procedures or interventions on the patient unless directed by the physician or nurse.
  • Companions must keep hospital property clean and orderly. If a companion damages hospital property, they will be held accountable for the costs.
  • To maintain a peaceful environment, it is essential that patients and their companions avoid speaking loudly or making noise in patient rooms and corridors. Additionally, televisions in the rooms should be used considerately, ensuring they do not disturb others, and must be turned off during doctor rounds and after 10:00 PM.
  • Companions should not take patients outside the hospital or change their beds without explicit permission from the relevant physician or nurse.
  • Any change of companion must be reported to the ward nurse.
  • In case of any issues concerning the patient, companions must immediately inform the nurse.

Patient Bed

To give the patient an appropriate position use the arrow keys on the remote control.If you have problems, please contact the patient consultant.

Nurse Call System

Two separate nurse calls to ensure that our nurses reach you when you need and toilet, bathroom available.

Television

The television you can use with the remote control system is available in your room.

Telephone

Your extension number is the same as your room number.

If you need an outside line during your stay, you need to ask for help from the central.Central Number: 0

Personal Belongings

Do not separate your bags, wallets and valuables from your side,we do not accept responsibility in case of loss.( If there is no one to leave your personal items,it is hide in the hospital's safe) .For such cases, you can ask for help from security officers.

Room Cleaning

Bed sheets of our patients and attendants are changed regularly every day,Cleaning of rooms, bathrooms and toilets is done twice a day and more frequently when needed by the service staff.If you need it, you can ask for additional bed linen, pillows.

Catering

It is not appropriate for your hospital to bring food from outside.

Patient diets are determined by our doctor and dietitian.

Patients and a companion are given to eat.You can get help from floor attendants if you need more food.

Extra meals are reflected in the room account.

The catering service is provided by the staff of the cafeteria in the patient rooms.

MORNING - 7:30-08:00  MOON - 12:00-13:00

EVENING - 17:30-18:30                 

We thank you in advance for your attention to the scheduled delivery times of our patients according to their operating hours and diets.The patient's room should be evacuated within 1 hour after the physician decides on the discharge of the patient.If the room is not vacated, the 1-night room rate will be credited to the patient's account.

Cafeteria Service

Our hospital cafeteria is located on the entrance floor, allowing our guests to enjoy food and beverage service in a comfortable environment.

Obtaining Information About the Patient in Surgery

Patient's relatives can follow the information about patients in operation from the info channel of patient rooms on the screen.

You can learn detailed information about your patient after surgery from your doctor.
