Companion Policy

  • The number of companions is limited to one person. If more than one companion wishes to stay, approval must be obtained from the patient’s physician or nurse.
  • Companions must adhere to hospital rules. In cases of violation, the companion's status may be revoked.
  • Companions should not perform any procedures or interventions on the patient unless directed by the physician or nurse.
  • Companions must keep hospital property clean and orderly. If a companion damages hospital property, they will be held accountable for the costs.
  • To maintain a peaceful environment, it is essential that patients and their companions avoid speaking loudly or making noise in patient rooms and corridors. Additionally, televisions in the rooms should be used considerately, ensuring they do not disturb others, and must be turned off during doctor rounds and after 10:00 PM.
  • Companions should not take patients outside the hospital or change their beds without explicit permission from the relevant physician or nurse.
  • Any change of companion must be reported to the ward nurse.
  • In case of any issues concerning the patient, companions must immediately inform the nurse.
