Diabetes mellitus, a global problem, has become an important public health problem in our country as it is in other countries. One of these activities has been accepted as  14th day of November world diabetes day to increase the awareness of diabetes. The most common causes of diabetes mellitus are dietary disorder and movement restriction. The regulation of nutrition and an active life not only prevent diabetes mellitus, but also prevent the development of hyperlipidemia, hypertension and many other diseases. Regular diet and exercise for healthy generations are the most important lifestyle changes.
